29/ Vehicle Tracking System

Reprotec UK’s vehicles have been installed with a Vehicle Tracking System.   

The Vehicle Tracking System enables Reprotec UK to know where its vehicles are at any time and to monitor their performance, enabling the more efficient use of Reprotec UK’s transport fleet.

The advantages of introducing the Vehicle Tracking System are:

• in the event of the vehicle being stolen, it enables Reprotec UK to retrieve the vehicle quickly, thus minimising the loss of the vehicle and its contents.

• Tracking Reprotec UK’s vehicles reduces insurance costs, and should a claim be made, it provides the company with information concerning the speed of the vehicle before and at the time of an accident.

• Reprotec UK can ensure that we observe Health & Safety requirements as far as breaks and rest periods are concerned, when employees are on the road.

• the System allows for Reprotec UK to check the information recorded on time sheets as against when a vehicle arrives on site and how long it is there.

• the System improves customer service as it allows Reprotec UK to provide more accurate information to customers, regarding arrival times.

• by monitoring the vehicles performance, we can ensure we get the best from them and also assist our employees with their driving skills, if necessary. 

You must not tamper with the Vehicle Tracking Device. Anyone doing so may be liable to summary dismissal.
